Proven working experience as Art Director preferably with strong understanding of retail landscape and fast-moving B2C business nature.
Minimum 4 years of hands-on creative design experience with demonstrable graphic design skills and a strong portfolio.
Relevant hands-on experience with branding projects, web layout/interface design, print production, digital collaterals, visual merchandising displays.
Proficient use of Photoshop, Illustrator and other modern visual design software and wireframing tools.
Fluent in business English and Mandarin
Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, target audiences and market trends to better understand and implement marketing initiatives and strategic positioning.
Responsible in leading the creative direction of brand and marketing campaigns from ideation to conceptualisation to execution.
To conceptualize and design creative layout and artwork for the companys overall A&P campaign, products and activities; to choose the appropriate media and style to meet branding & marketing objective.
Conceiving and implementing concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and overseeing them to completion with a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
To perform maintenance and content updates as well as overseeing the creative strategy of all companys digital assets website, mobile app, social media channels.
Plan, source and implement retail stores visual merchandising materials and maintain consistent and coherent display standards.
To liaise with various vendors for all output and implementation of advertising and promotion materials as well as store-display materials.
Anticipate problems that may impede a project from completing on time and implement solutions.
Maintain inter-departmental communication by collaborating, brainstorming, and strategizing with the team for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, visual merchandising, presentations/concept pitch, programming collateral, internal
communication materials, newsletters, and brand & marketing materials to ensure consistent brand identity.
Leading team of designers with effective tasks delegation and clear directions to help them unleash their talents efficiently while training and guiding them into accomplished creative professionals.
Mentor and encourage creative team members to foster a positive work environment while providing regular opportunities for professional development and growth to team.
Shoulder the responsibility of the quality and completion of all work projects assigned to members of the creative team.
Lead creative brainstorming sessions inter-departmentally to generate ideas and think out of the box for fresh concepts and ideas.
