Job Description
Digital Sales Manager responsible to lead and manage a team of sales representatives to develop sales strategies and objectives while develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the business goals, target markets, and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives
- Set clear performance expectations and KPIs for the team
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to develop the skills and capabilities of team members
- Conduct regular performance reviews and offer constructive feedback
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with sales management to develop sales strategies and objectives
- Assist in setting sales quotas and targets for the team.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
- Sales Execution:
- Lead by example in prospecting, presenting, and closing sales deals.
- Assist team members in generating and managing leads, conducting product demonstrations, and negotiating contracts.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports
- Address escalated customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze sales team performance against targets and KPIs.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales metrics, trends, and accomplishments to senior management.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the business goals, target markets, and services.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and setting performance targets and KPIs.
- Sales Planning: Create sales plans, including sales forecasts, budgets, and resource allocation, to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver persuasive and compelling sales presentations to clients, showcasing the agency's services and value proposition.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and prospect potential clients, nurturing leads, and converting them into paying clients through effective sales techniques.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and retention.
Skills & Experiences
- Bachelor Degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
- Min 5 years of experience in an advertising agency (preferable)
- Min 3 years in Corporate Sales with management role such as a sales manager or supervisor- to guide, coach and motivate sales team
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
- Strong understanding of sales principles, customer service and market dynamics to develop and implement sales strategies
- Industry-Specific Knowledge: Experience in a particular industry pharmaceutical, F&B, Automotive can be advantageous
- Client Management Experience and knowledge of Email Marketing
- Fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese (speak, read, write), and English
