Key Responsibilities
- Review the daily financial transactions such as payment, purchases, journal entries etc. to ensure accuracy, reasonableness, compliance with company regulations and accounting standards
- Cash flow forecast, planning and management
- Preparation and review monthly cash flow reports and analysis
- Oversee and monitor the credit control to ensure collections from customers are strictly following the standard timeline and review credit terms
- Liaise with bankers, lawyers, company secretary, tax agents, Customs and auditors
- Review the closing of monthly and annual accounts
- Supervise and monitor the work of accounting staff to ensure high level of commitment and focus on delivering results and train staff for continuous improvement
- Review of financial and accounts flow and initiate improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Skills & Experiences
- At least 5 years experience in both accounting and finance experience (Working experience in manufacturing industry is an added advantage)
- Candidate must possess Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accountancy or Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or ICAEW
- Required language: English, Malay and Mandarin
