Key Responsibilities
- Provide fire testing solutions to local and regional fire safety and testing organizations
- Creating conceptual and detailed fabrication drawings for two and three-dimensional system designs using AUTOCAD Inventor
- Perform electrical, mechanical, thermodynamic calculations for sizing high-temperature heating apparatus, under the supervision of a senior
- Produce documentation of existing and new fire test apparatus, record drawings and calculations
- Visits to facilities, both locally and abroad
- To evaluate existing conditions of test apparatus; identifying and documenting apparatus deficiencies
- Providing mechanical, electrical calculated designs for new facilities, additions, renovations and repairs
Skills & Experiences
- Must at least possess a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation and Controls
- Good command of the English Language
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Autocad Inventor
- No fear of working at height
- Willing to participate/supervise 3D jobs
- Able to work indoors and outdoors
- Possess valid driving license
- Training will be provided to the successful candidate
- Willing to travel interstate and OVERSEAS at short notice
