Job Description
The main job task as a design engineer is to help design new unit or machine part for both factory automation business system and semiconductor business system. The job task requires candidate to communicate in Japanese.
Key Responsibilities
- The company provides factory automation system, and semiconductor system solution.
- They are machine and equipment maker catering to semiconductor and automation industry.
- Understand machine structure, hardware and software system.
- Design new unit/machine part according to requirement and specification (Minor/Major)
- Understand and prepare operation manual/electrical wiring manual for customer.
- Fully in charge of machine trouble-shooting in house.
- To provide support/information to customer for machine operation and problem solving.
- In-charge of small scale hardware design (i.e. add sensor, solenoid valve) with/without guidance from supervisor.
- Understand hardware wiring diagram and all electrical components used in machine.
- Feedback software program to other machine.
- Create simple program, software feedback, compiling and creating executing file accordingly.
- Able to handle recognition test and conclude an improvement suggestion.
- To provide information to Production Engineer regarding machine general movement and unit movement.
- To help in improving existing machine.
- Help in doing machine cost down.
- Responsible to take on additional roles or task assigned by management or superior from time to time.
Skills & Experiences
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Control Engineering, CGPA 3.2 and above.
- Minimum 1-3 years working experience in semiconductor equipment or equivalent
- Strong problem solving skill
- Willing to go deep into learning factory automation system business and semiconductor system business.
- JLPT N3 Japanese speaking language qualification
