Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage day to day operations of the existing manufacturing cost accounting department functions.
- Plan, organize and lead all the activities in budget making and cost accounting functions.
- Lead and manage monthly closing activities including preparing the monthly manufacturing cost analysis report and report timely to the top management and Japan head quarter.
- Prepare presentation on monthly manufacturing financial performance results to the management
- Supervise costing inventory operations and ensure compliance with the company policy and procedures according to the Malaysia Private Entity Accounting Standards and Company Compliance policy.
- Manage and ensure accuracy of the company quarterly inventory stock count.
- Responsible to authorize and ensure accurate expenditure records in the appropriate journals and ledgers in the company accounting system
- Closely monitor and control the company actual spending versus the budget and forecast.
- Responsible for development and maintenance of product standard costs.
- Responsible for proactive analysis of expense variances and ensure effective and timely communication to the relevant departments for actions.
- Any relevant and lawful tasks that may be assigned by the superior from time to time in line and commensurate with job grade and position title.
Skills & Experiences
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance & accounting
- Minimum 3 years Financial Cost Accounting experience in manufacturing industry
- Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N2 or equivalent) and English
- Experience in Manufacturing costing and costs analysis skills
- Possess own car and able to work in Kulim
