Registered Environmental Auditor or Consultant with DOE Malaysia or State Regulatory Authority
Certified Erosion, Sediment and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI) by EnviroCert International, Inc. or (EO Competency)
Certified CIDB Construction Safety and Health Officer (CSHO) or Registered Greenbook with DOSH Malaysia (SHO Competency)
CIDB Traffic Management Officer (TMO Competency)
Certified CIDB & NIOSH Train the Trainer (TTT)
Required language English, Malay. Mandarin is an advantage
At least 12 years of working experience in related field
Develop and implement ESHT strategies and management plans in line with corporate ESHT Policies and local regulations direction to ensure corporate sustainable development.
Promote and raise awareness by implementing ESHT training activities (inclusive of develop training materials, training schedule, distribution and etc.).
Review tender documents and identify ESHT and others regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present to client during tendering stage and client requirement.
Assist in setting up of project environmental, safety and health plans, procedures and compliance with ESHT legislation.
Conduct regular site inspection for all ESHT related matters.
Review and provide ESHT input on incident investigation report and follow up plan.
Perform audit, analyze and report ESHT performance.
Maintain and coordinate international / local authority certification.
Prepare and coordinate on JSA & EAIA for Method Statement Submission.
Attend Monthly Progress Meeting, Bi-weekly Technical Meetings, HSE Committee Meeting, New Sub-con Kick Off meeting, etc.
Attend Mass Tool Box Talk and lead SSS in MTBM topic/safety sharing and sectional HSE Committee Meeting. (SHO will be the section HSE Committee Secretary as per OSHA 1994).
To assist and advise SHO, SSS to commence safety induction for all personnel involve in the entire construction project circumstance.
Coordinate environmental and safety incident investigations (if any) and report finding to CEO, PD, PM prior to Client.
To liaise and meeting with Client Team especially Clients Safety Manager, Traffic Manager, Environmental Manager and HSE Personnel regarding all ESHT related matters.
To advise and liaise with Contractors sub-contractors to ensure compliance to all ESHT requirements.
To coordinate all authorities visit and compliance audit and internal quality audit.
To coordinate all 3rd party training (first aider training, machinery operator training etc).
To coordinate and conduct any safety campaign (e.g: SEB safety induction etc).
To liaise with CIDB trainer for LTBs staffs and workers CIDB Greencard training under CIDB Act 520.
To ensure PPE Stocks sufficient and procurement matter for LTB staffs and workers under LTB PPE Policy.
To carry out audits to check the guidelines in the project HSE requirements are implemented and are effective in achieving the targets of the mitigation plans.
To oversee and head the HSE activities and programmes as assigned by the Project and Top Management.
