Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field

Prior experience as a TV Production Controller, as well as working in the Physical Production department and media industry a plus

5+ years of experience working in a highly analytical environment (banking, finance, business development, consulting)

Good knowledge of computer applications (MS Office)

Have a broad skillset for and be willing to have ownership of a broad spectrum of tasks and functions

Possess excellent analytical skills

Superior communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a demanding, fast-paced environment

Curious about the ability to develop creative solutions

The ideal candidate will have a cooperative, positive, team-oriented spirit

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Project Management

Provide day-to-day project and contract management services.

Ensure that the companys financial controllership and production policies and procedures are uniformly implemented operationally.

Financial

Manage the financial operations, budgeting, and production accounting process, including cash flow and cost reporting for assigned productions.

Liaison between show producers, finance department, and management.

Ensure payroll is in accordance with standards established by the company.

Contract Management

Develop deep knowledge of production agreements, particularly pricing and packaging.

Handle heavy volume and fast-paced business and legal affairs matters for the company.

Review legal contracts for execution by production and advise production on contract administration and compliance.

Involves working closely with management, finance, and admin & HR departments alongside show producers.

Ad hoc analysis and special projects.
