ESA JURUTERA PERUNDING SDN. BHD. was founded on 1st November, 1972 to provide comprehensive consulting Services in all spheres of civil and structural engineering. Its capability includes the provision of expert engineering Advice, feasibility studies, design and planning of projects and engineering works of all sizes, and supervision of Construction of works. The firm currently employs some 60 staff of which approximately 20 are professional Engineers.

The firm has been responsible since its inception for many projects including highways and rural roads, bridges, Infrastructure works, multi-storey buildings, factories, housing schemes and new townships, water supply and Sewerage works. In addition to the firm’s experience, the partners and senior staff have had considerable additional Experience on design, management and supervision of construction of major engineering works covering such Fields as highways and bridges, drainage and irrigation Schemes, dry docks, port and marine works (including land Reclamation), prefabricated multi-storey buildings, economic evaluation of palm oil estates, palm oil processing mills, foundries and airports.

The firm wholly subscribes to and supports the New Economic Policy of the Government and towards this end, has taken all efforts to promote Bumiputras participation at all levels of the firm’s structure. The firm had since its inception taken positive steps to provide employment opportunities at both the technical and administrative sections to Bumiputras.

It is the policy of the firm to stay in the forefront of engineering practice and new developments are constantly being assimilated and utilized in order to provide the best possible consulting services to the Client. Computer techniques have been used to solve the more complex problems quickly and efficiently for a wide range of applications. The firm has several well known engineering software’s to solve a great variety of problems and make comparisons of alternative designs to produce the most economical solution. In addition, careful emphasis is placed on staff training. ESA staff participates regularly in seminars and conferences. Several members of the firm have been sent on training sessions to overseas consultants.
