Job Description

responsible for detecting market opportunities and developing leads across all channels, including marketing events, industry reports, blogs, social media, among others. You will ensure that our sales leads are qualified with the goal of targeting potential customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop opportunities for sales from prospecting and marketing generated leads.
  • Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, including outbound video, and other social mediums.
  • Develop and execute a strong prospecting strategy, including email and call scripts.
  • Track all relevant qualification and lead management activity using Salesforce.com.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunities.
  • Schedule initial discovery meetings for the Sales team.
  • Provide in depth information to the Sales team to enable the most qualified and productive demos.
  • Shadow BDMs in meetings and demos to help you acquire the skills youll need for next role on the sales team.
  • Achieve monthly & quarterly quotas of Meetings Generated using Marketing/Marketing qualified leads
  • Keep abreast with sales skills, market understanding, solutions knowledge and customer approach to generate valuable business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with field sales teams to identify new opportunities
  • Prospect and engage with new and existing customers to qualify new opportunities
  • Develop Account Point Of View (POV) and identify Case studies for account development
  • Accurately forecast monthly pipeline generation
  • Improve as a team through best practice sharing and process improvement

Skills & Experiences

  • Minimum 2 years in new business prospecting, leads generation and outbound sales skills in technology related business sectors
  • Post-secondary educations in the form of certification, diploma or academic degree
  • Knowledge or previous experience in using (any) tools like: Outreach - SalesLoft - Salesforce - Pardot - LinkedIn Sales Navigator - ZoomInfo - etc.
  • Passionate about technology/SaaS/PaaS/IaaS and sales
  • Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services preferred
  • Willingness to learn and ambition to grow professionally
  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Enjoy speaking with stranger on the phone daily and apply the skills you learnt from each conversation
  • Flexibility to adapt to rapid changes 
  • Team-first attitude without necessarily taking the lead
  • Drive, grit and a strong desire to compete and win
