Manage existing EMS account responsible and ensure that sales & Gross Profit is achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage existing EMS account responsible and ensure that sales & GP is achieved.
- Meeting Target ADM benchmarks monthly, quarterly and annually includes frequent managing of reports and forecast
- Support KAM Asia, so that the business is linked with global KAM customer sales development.
- Responsible to drive product promotional activities for the Malaysia region.
- Grow existing and new Electronics Manufacturing Services(EMS) business in JB & KL region by ensuring that transfer projects are secured.
- Main contact window for project transfers to JB & KL region and co-ordinate actively with the overseas project manager with regards to the business allocation, pricing , delivery issues and project status.
- Manage the sales process from new initial contact through sales closure, include negotiating on price, terms, delivery and specifications with customer 's purchasing and engineering teams.
- Prepare key reports for management : Business intel report analysis, Customer Management report and Point of sales report feedback etc.
- Work with customer global commodity team or local purchasing team to actively review Bills of Materials List and win business allocation with competitive pricing.
- Support our insides sales team to resolve daily operational issues such as price dispute & delivery issues.
- Work with Purchasing and Supply Chain team on optimal buffer stocks programs for key customer or strategic key projects.
- Drive vendor managed inventory (VMI) or buffer stock program with existing and new customer to fulfill customer Just in Time delivery requirement.
- Work closely with Field Application Engineer and Quality Management team to tactically resolve quality issues occurring at customer production sites.
- Prepare and submit weekly report, Business Intelligence report, Quarterly Sales report and Joint Visits report on time.
- Take company representation for trade events, exhibitions and demonstration. Organize technical seminar at customer site when suitable demand.
- Promote Company's product and hunt for potential customers in Malaysia through cold-calling.
- Handling incoming calls and providing right solutions and information to customers.
- Provide personalized customer service to customers and handling complaints effectively.
- Perform full sales functions, including pre and post sales activities, such as quotations and generating invoices.
- Report to District Key Account manager in all aspects of sales activities.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by the manager.
Skills & Experiences
- Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in handling EMS / Contract Manufacturer Customers
- Must possess strong leadership skill, self-motivated, result-oriented person
- Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with associates
- Possess valid driving license & car is an added advantage
- Willing to travel frequently.
