Job Description
We're in search of a proficient IT Executive to join our team based in Malaysia, tasked with supporting our IT operations in Singapore and China.
The ideal candidate will have a pivotal role in upholding and improving our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth connectivity, and delivering effective technical support to our users.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering daily technical assistance at level 1 and level 2 to end-users within the business
- Deliver prompt IT support to users and affiliated subsidiaries in China
- Deploying and configuring end-user devices
- Offering assistance with Windows, Android, iOS, and Microsoft Office products
- Handling software setup, installation, upgrades, patches, and maintenance
- Monitoring system performance and ensuring compliance with specifications
- Resolving issues and addressing outages promptly
- Collaborating with vendors and service providers.
Skills & Experiences
- Possession of a degree or diploma in an IT-related field
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential for effective communication with colleagues in China
- Demonstrated at least 2 years of experience in IT Helpdesk and providing technical support for end-user devices, including troubleshooting computer applications and operating systems
- Previous experience in coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and service providers
- Proficiency with Windows 10 is required, with familiarity with the Chinese Simplified version being advantageous
- Knowledge and experience in server management, including setup, maintenance, backup, and PowerShell, are preferred
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware Horizon VDI, vSphere, VCS, and UAG is advantageous
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Intune is a plus
- Candidates with experience in System Administration, network administration, or related fields are highly desirable
