Job Description
The ideal HR/IR Consultant should possess a sound and in-depth knowledge in the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and Trade Union Act.
Key Responsibilities
- Must have sound and in-depth knowledge in the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and Trade Union Act.
- Knowledge in HR/IR work cycle and areas related in all areas of Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations.
- Responsible for engaging and managing clients, keeping them informed of work progress to facilitate the making of relevant decisions.
- Responsible for liaising with clients, preparing necessary documents in accordance to employment best practices in HR/IR areas.
- Responsible for assisting clients with dealing with disciplinary management and reducing or eliminating potential risk to clients by introducing proactive measures.
- Must have sound knowledge in dealing with the Labour Department, Industrial relations and JHEKS process related to respective areas and issues.
- Assisting clients of documents process related SOP, ISO document and any areas as and required.
- Responsible for assisting clients managing employee appraisal, KPI and succession Planning.
- To undertake other functions and ad-hoc assignments of duties as and when assigned from time to time.
Skills & Experiences
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related qualifications
- Min 8 years of working experience in HR / IR
- Good written and oral communication skills, and proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Possess hands-on and proactive attitude, excellent time management, supervisory and analytical skills
- Good follow-through on tasks assigned
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Meticulous with good organization and interpersonal skills
- Must have excellent communications at all levels up to C suite
