Job Description

The role will involve product development, staff management, financial management, etc. for convenience stores in collaboration with the Japanese side and JV partners.

Key Responsibilities

• As General Manager (Head of Business) of the local JV (Joint Venture) business in Malaysia.
• The role will involve product development, staff management, financial management, etc. for convenience stores in collaboration with the Japanese side and JV partners.
• Grasp the financial situation of the local JV company and share it with the head office in Japan.
• The role will involve the final reporting line for each department of the local factory (Production Management Department, Quality Control
• Department, Product Development Department, Warehouse Management Department).
• Communication with local JV company departments (finance, HR, purchasing, RTE, marketing, etc.)
• Collaboration with head office in Japan (product development, support for factory operations, etc.)
• Staff management at the local level (50-100 staff)
• Attendance and reporting at board meetings of local JV companies.
• Reporting to head office in Japan

Skills & Experiences

• Experience in business management related to food production. (including experience working in a food factory, distributor, production management, product development, etc.
• Short-term catch-up skills for the job description.
• University graduate or above
• Expertise in MS Office.
