Desktop Publishing Artist (2 headcount)

Job Description

Experience working with Pre Press and gravure cylinder printing. Handling desktop publishing specialists in trapping, step and repeat artwork and general pre-press graphics work.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand printing terms like sealing, gusset area, know how the in and out of gravure cylinder printing or pre press. 
• Handling desktop publishing specialists in trapping, step and repeat artwork and general pre-press graphics work.
• Duties include colour adjustment, colour correction, colour separation, photoshop re-touching.
• Understanding and experience of Branding, layout, colour theory and typography in both print and digital media.
• To execute from concept to completion of design solutions for clients.
• DTP artists are also required to collaborate with multiple departments such as Sales, Production, and Development teams.
• Ensuring to produce the artworks in time

Skills & Experiences

• Minimum 5 years experience in desktop publishing. 
• Experience in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Artpro / Esko
• Able to work long hours 
• Familiar in Food & Beverage Packaging Industry
