The contract logistic business development senior manager propose contract logistic solution to new or existing customer ensure contract logistic project is well executed together with forwarding department with on time delivery and the best rate and best cost.
Key Responsibilities

- Work closely with head of forwarding to help with on time delivery execution.
- Develop the domestic and oversea inquiries by proposing a solution design that will improve overall customers supply chain operation.
- Processing of enquiries, responding efficiently and accurately to customers requiring RFQ, RFP, RFI, Tenders, Bids and Proposal and negotiating win-win profitable conversions pertaining to shipments
- Drive and achieve department goal in accordance with company directions
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve targeted revenue and growth
- Develop new businesses for all product range - Freight Management & Contract Logistics.
- Develop opportunities to cross-sell products to existing and new clients.
- Maintain an accurate, ongoing and robust sales pipeline at all time.
- Forging and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts in existing and new account
- Strategic brainstorming and implementation of new business development initiatives.
- Developing and leveraging on companys branding and professional profile.
- Gathering and sharing of market intelligence
- To develop, implement and continuously improve strategies, customer account plans and maintain a business pipeline to gain market share.
- Maintain an updated and accurate record on costs of services, contact details of all service providers, clients and filing of sales quotations, tenders, bids and proposals
Skills & Experiences
- Minimum 10 years experience in contract logistic solution for the either of the following industry Semiconductor or Electronic or Automotive.
- Well verse and fully understand how 3PL and 4PL forwarding logistic works.
- Strong background in negotiating, tendering and providing contract logistic solutions. (Customer to Customer, Door to Door.)
- Strong time management.
- Strong communication skill, detail oriented.
