Key Responsibilities

• Summary:  The IBM Technical Consultant is responsible for:
• 1. Developing Cognos Analytics (BI), including design, development, implementation and maintenance of Group Financial Reports in BI connected to IBM Planning Analytics ( PA)
• 2. Developing IBM PA as the Group Financial and Management Reporting tool, including design, development, implementation and maintenance of Group Financial Reports in PA, while providing proper support & training to the PA user community. 
• Detailed responsibility:
• Develop Cognos Anaytics as the Group Financial Reports tool. 
• Develop the reports to generate automatic emails (Burst mode).
• Develop the reports for mass-printing. 
• Work with Group Finance and business to analyze & understand financial reporting requirements. Based on this analysis, propose Cognos Analytics Reports. 
• Maintain the Security in the Cognos Portal: Maintain access rights and Group Security
• Develop IBM PA as the Group Financial Reporting tool. 
• Design, code, test, and analyze PA applications. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying PA applications, being the backup of the TM1 Sr Developer. 
• Be able to write Turbo Integrator Scripts are highly sought.
• Create reports and forms in PA Workspace and TM1 Web. 
• Supporting and training using IBM PA user community.
• Support users with training. 
• Provide ad hoc assistance on IBM PA related questions. 
• Research new technologies and best practices. Advise and recommend changes to existing IT policies.

Skills & Experiences

• Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering/Information Technology/Finance or relevant
• Min 3 years of experience in developing and programming Cognos Analytics BI or IBM Planning Analytics 
• Troubleshooting, technical support, user support (email, phone)
• Able to read and understand system logs
• Ability to describe/write in English business process specifications 
• Able to travel to client site
