Entering Malaysia: A Guideline For Expatriate For The Year 2021
This is a guideline for the entry of Expatriate / Skilled Worker / Knowledge Worker Entering Malaysia for Key Posts and Technical Posts, and for Dependents and Foreign Maids to enter Malaysia for the year 2021.
Scenario 1: Expatriate with an active pass, and currently stranded abroad.
Scenario 1 is for Expatriate with a pass holder of:
i. Employment Pass Category I (EP I, II, III)
ii. Residence Pass Talent (RP-T) & Dependents
iii. Professional Visit Pass (PVP)
iv. Dependant/s to expatriate for all categories
v. Long Term Social Visit Pass (LT-SVP) to expatriate for all categories
vi. Foreign Maid for (EP I & RP-T)

Scenario 2: New Approved Pass Application for expatriate who is currently abroad.
Scenario 2 is for expatriate with registered company in ESD and Approving Agencies (Not registered in ESD e.g: Public Institutions of Higher Learning (IPTA), MIDA / IRDA approval).
i. Residence Pass Talent (RP-T) and Dependant
ii. Employment Pass (Category I, II & III)
iii. Professional Visit Pass (PVP)
iv. Dependant/s to expatriate for all categories
v. Long Term Social Visit Pass (LT-SVP) to expatriate for all categories
vi. Foreign Maid to expatriate for all categories
