Job Description

The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for establishing indoor and outdoor sales with customers in need of the firm’s freight transportation services.

Key Responsibilites

  • Responsible for establishing and managing relationships with customers in need of the firms freight transportation services.
  • Maintain consistently positive interactions to nurture customer relationships.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and follow-through till resolution.
  • Understanding customer needs and requirementsEnsure feedback and issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Routing qualified opportunities for further development.
  • Represent the firm in negotiating and building relationship with shippers, carriers and other service providers.
  • Responsible for aiding successful pick-up and delivering, locally or internationally.
  • Provide sales support to sales managers from quote to assist them to secure.
  • Secure sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
  • Best to have existing account and manage accounts to ensure continued sales and profit growth.
  • Filing and preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Achieve individual, team and company goals.
  • Undertake other assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required by superior.

Skills & Experiences

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Business or relevant field 
  • 2-3 years experience of sales in freight and logistics
  • Fluent in English and Malay
  • Willing to travel when required
