Skills and Requirements


Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology or equivalent.

CCIE in Routing & Switch, Voice, or Security.

Technical understanding of LAN/WAN/Security/Voice/Server technologies.

Knowledge and use of VOIP and Performance Management Tools and integration experience with other Tools.

Good understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, VOIP (SIP, H.323 and Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP).

ITIL certification (Foundation certificate minimum) is highly desirable.

Required language(s): English & other language in the Asia Region.

At least 3 year(s) of working experience in telecommunications industry is required for this position.

Applicants must be willing to work in Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.

Job Responsibilities


Systematically analyze and diagnose network faults and conduct root cause analysis on network fault;

Able to articulate well with both customer and partners technical and management staff on network issues;

Support sales and technical team on proposal and presentation of solutions to customers;

Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to telephony platform and its services.

Meet customers to understand user requirements and deliver POC (Proof of Concepts) to customers;

Involved with the design and architecture of the companys applications and systems based on users requirements;

Involved with the installation, commissioning and servicing customers of the companys solutions, applications and systems;

Ability to perform configuration and implementation of the companys solution and involved with technical support, and helping troubleshoot various elements.

Meet the work plan and delivery of on-site projects, and testing the deliverables. Execute technical specifications and test plans in projects to ensure timelines are met.

Perform interoperation testing between systems to meet the client requirements;

Work closely in a team to ensure project is delivered in a timely manner;

Strong ability to work simultaneously in different multidisciplinary/multicultural project teams with sensitivity and respect for diversity;

Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project.
