Minimum 3 years of experience (preferably with in-house experience) in legal services such as Gorvin, Skrine or equivalent.
Bachelor degree in relevant business discipline, e.g. Law, Management, and Business from University of Malaya, NUS, TsingHua University or equivalent.
Malaysia Bar Qualified
Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese, additional languages not mentioned will be considered favourable.
Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills.
Preferred languages: Japanese and Korean

As a Legal Assistant/ Contract Manager, you will assist the management in managing and overseeing all legal matters of the company.
Job Description:
Draft, review and revise contracts related to our business (e.g. letters of appointment, corporates agreements) both in English and in Mandarin
Review, track and manage the implementation and enforcement of contractual obligations.
Manage strategy for deviations.
Identify, communicate and manage risks from a commercial and contractual perspective.
Assist in legal issues arising from our business and regulations governing our business and propose appropriate mitigating solutions
Advice on dispute resolution and coordinate advice from external solicitors
Prepare standard legal contract templates and precedents for the company
Keep management updated on latest legislative and regulatory changes.
Systematic organizational standards in drafting contractual provisions from pre to post sales.
Review, track and manage the implementation and enforcement of contractual obligations.
Ensure risks are identified, communicated & managed from a commercial and contractual perspective.
