Key Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous health assessment and health education are being provided for patients to assess their progress and achievement of desired outcomes.
- Responsible to report and assist in the investigation of any incident within the workplace including sharp injury, near hit and property damage.
- Familiar with all critical emergency situation policies such as no water or electricity supply, natural disaster (flood/ fire) or medical emergency. Able to take the necessary action during such critical and emergency situations.
- Responsible to deliver optimum care to patients by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation, in accordance with the local and international standard ad philosophy
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines(internal/ external) to ensure effective patient care delivery resolve patient's problem or needs and also the achievement of desired patient outcomes(such as targeted medical KPI)
- Demonstrate commitment to take charge as a shift team leader as agree with Head Nurse
- Ensure health, comfortable and safety of the patient by maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules & regulations.
- Perform Doctor's round by ensuring pre and post-round preparation and documentation required completed accordingly
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements following manufacturers instruction, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories evaluating new equipment and techniques
- Maintains nursing and medical supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
Skills & Experiences
- Minimum Diploma in Nursing and registered with Malaysian Nursing Board
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in renal post-basic
- Open to retirees with working experience in renal post-basic
- Willing to work on shift from Monday to Saturday (including Public Holidays)
