Skills and Requirements

High school diploma or associates degree.

Experience as an office assistant or in related field.

Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.

Warm personality with strong communication skills.

Ability to work well under limited supervision.

Great communication skills.

Have a valid driver license

Job Responsibilities

a) Delivers items to customers by verifying orders.

b) Inventories stock.

c) Arranges transportation.

d) Organizes item order by editing for price, promotions, and weight compliance.

e) Arranges shipments by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating delivery requirements, and placing/expediting orders.

f) Ships items by examining items, destination, route, rate, and delivery time; ordering carriers.

g) Verifies items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, and noting discrepancies.

h) Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status; answering questions.

i) Protects the organizations reputation by keeping pricing, promotion, purchase order, and credit-limit information confidential.

j) Site / Field auditing and Lux measurement testing.
