Japanese Speaking Interpreter & Translator (Fresh Graduate)

Job Description

The candidate is responsible to provide verbal and written translation and interpretation from Japanese to other local languages or vice versa.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide business level verbal interpretation in real time smoothly and swiftly from Japanese to (English / Malaysia / Mandarin / Tamil) vice versa between native Japanese speakers and local Malaysians / foreigners
• To provide business level written translation of various documents. Example: agreements, manuals, proposals, training module materials etc
• To accompany native Japanese as and when required to attend internal and / or external meetings. Interpretation will generally involve communication between local employees, customers, dealers, Malaysian government ministry officials etc
• To perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
• You might need to attend client dinner for translation.(Once or twice per month or maybe none for the month.

Skills & Experiences

• Min Diploma in any field
• Fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent business level spoken and written proficiency), Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Not blacklisted nor having financial issue with CTOS/CCRIS
