Skills and Requirements

At least Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent

Minimum 10-12 years of relevant working experience preferably with 5 years in managerial position

Hands-on experience with SAP, SQL Programming, Windows Server and Microsoft Navision

Experience in managing big team size (appx. within 20 headcounts)

Proficient in project management methodologies & tools

Must be bi-lingual in English and Mandarin effectively

Job Responsibilities

To manage the IT system and IT department, including developing the IT strategy, evaluate and identify new business IT solutions and ensure all IT projects through proper planning and management to fulfill the business objectives of the Company.

To implement Group IT roadmap and directives to the Malaysia IT environment.

Responsible for the analysis, evaluation, development, testing and implementation of projects undertaken by the IT department to ensure business benefits and cost analysis are clearly identified, they are delivered in the most cost effective manner and on targets.

Ensure the information system adhered to the in-house SDLC (system development life cycle) standard & guideline, where need develop and propose the relevant standard & guideline.

Work with business entities to recommend and introduce the relevant technologies and align with Group IT roadmap to achieve efficiency and effectiveness of IT competency.

Recommend solution, enhancements and change of work processes as required

Update IT key activities (eg. major enhancement, project status) to management and to businesses.

Develop, review and enforce IT operational policies, procedure and documentation.

Plan and prepare IT budgets for submission and approval, monitor and ensure the IT expenditures are within budget.

Plan, monitor, motivate and grow IT staff - in their career development.
