Working Hours: 8 am-9am flexi hours - 5 pm-6pm

Skills and Requirements

recognized diploma in HRM or its equivalent

min. 5 years relevant experience as HR Generalist

Strong understanding of Malaysian Employment Act, Ministry of Human Resources' regulations and HR practices

Preferably with experience from manufacturing, heavy machinery/marine/offshore

familiar with labour laws and compensation and benefits

strong interpersonal and communication skills, cultural sensitivity and leadership

ability to engage employees across different levels

independent and pro-active with the ability to work with minimal supervision

ability to multi-task in fast paced environment

good organizational sills and ability to multi-task

Job Responsibilities

Ensure that employee compensation and benefits are consistent with local practices and aligned with Group policies

handle the full cycle of recruitment and selection for all non-managerial level staff

Coordinate and conduction induction program for new hires

Attend to employees' enquiries/clarifications/grievances and complaints and provide guidance as necessary

Verify overtime hours and allowance computation for Operations department

Prepare HR related letters/memos/notices, personnel-related forms and documents.

Handle employee accommodation matters, including renewal of tenancy agreements, liaison with agents and ensuring upkeep of rental premises

Liaise with insurance broker on road tax, insurance renewals for company vehicles

Ensure local HR policies are aligned with Corporate HR's policies and corporate strategies
