Key Responsibilities
- The main job of the Demand & Supply chain senior executive is to work closely with Suppliers from China, USA, Thailand, & Malaysia.
- Ensure quality of food ingredients by the supplier comply with Martin Brower standard.
- Work closely with Supply chain managers & Warehouse Managers in planning demand forecasting ensuring on time delivery and lead time.
- Work closely with the freight department to resolve any container issue.
- Ensure supply continuity through effective demand & supply planning.
- Work out forecast with reference to historical trends and new market insights
- Placement and tracking of orders to supplier
- Proactively communicates inventory risk to management and customer
- Monitor inbound shipment and work with freight department in prioritising
- Liaising with suppliers for credits on damaged and rejected product
- Take proactive approach in managing slow moving and obsolete inventories
- Maintain all supply related parameters and master data in relevant planning systems
- Generate various reports for stakeholders
- Be involved in process improvement/ enhancement projects
- Work together with other departments to resolve issues
- Support any ad hoc requests
Skills & Experiences
- Degree/ Diploma in Business/ Supply Chain preferred
- Min 5 years working experience in Supply Chain for FMCG Food industry
- Experienced in managing short shelf-life products
- Meticulous to details with a strong sense of urgency to resolve issues
- Strong communications and project coordination & negotiation skills
