Key Responsibilities
- As our Accountant (FP&A), you will take charge of the company's financial balances. You enjoy analysing and verifying invoices, statements, books! You won't stop until your books are balanced, and to get there, you understand it's a whole twelve month's worth of discipline in organising and foresight. If you fit this description, we want you!
- Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and oversee all accounting strategies, including annual audits
- Regular and accurate reporting of management accounts to facilitate strategic decisions and improvements across our operations
- Take charge for all accounts: payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc
- Working directly with the CEO and Finance Manager in financial-decision discussions: budget, forecasting
- Maintain and update financial projections and generate reports, meeting objectives
- Monitor and analyse accounting data, daily accounting operations
- Defining accounting policies and procedures
- Protects company's confidential information
Skills & Experiences
- Able to speak and write in excellent English
- Able to write and generate reports with clarity and precision
- Strong attention to detail and high work standards, ability to organize time efficiently
- min 3 years of Accounting, Audit, or similar professional experience,
- Preferably with Professional Accounting certificate or Accounting/Finance degree
- High level of integrity, accountable
- Out of the box thinking skills to create and own standards
- Pro-active and independent thinking and problem-solving competence
